Description: The inspecting switch for RSTP protocol.
What is hwAspfEudmEnableRstp?
This boolean switch enables or disables ASPF's real-time streaming protocol inspection between the configured security zones. Enabling it lets the firewall track the control channel of streaming sessions so it can dynamically permit the associated media-data connections through. An admin allowing a video-streaming server in a DMZ to reach internal clients would enable this so the dynamically negotiated media ports aren't dropped by the firewall.
