If the authentication passes, the port state switches to the authorized state and users can access the network resources. Options: 1. forceUnauthorized(1) -indicates force-authorized mode 2. auto(2) -auto mode 3. forceAuthorized(3) -indicates force-unauthorized mode Default: auto(2)

What is hwDot1xPortAuthMode?

This OID sets the 802.1x authorization control mode for a port: forceUnauthorized(1) always blocks access, auto(2) - the default - requires successful authentication before granting access, and forceAuthorized(3) always allows access without authentication. Admins use auto for normal deployments and the force modes to test or exempt specific ports.
