What is hpOVISTargetHost?

This OCTET STRING carries the target hostname associated with an HP OpenView Internet Services threshold-violation trap, and is only accessible as part of a notification (accessible-for-notify). Admins see this value populated in incoming SNMP traps to identify which monitored host triggered the alarm. For example, a trap arriving with hpOVISTargetHost set to 'webserver01.corp.example.com' tells the admin exactly which monitored server the alert concerns.
