OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.9.7.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Description: Voice vlan configuration qos trust status, which is applicable to a voice vlan enabled interface.

What is hpnicfVoiceVlanPortQosTrust?

This read-write TruthValue controls whether the switch trusts the QoS or CoS priority markings on incoming voice traffic from the specific interface identified by hpnicfVoiceVlanPortifIndex. Admins enable it on ports connecting to phones known to correctly mark their own voice traffic, letting the switch honor those priority tags rather than re-marking or ignoring them, ensuring voice traffic gets appropriate QoS treatment end to end. Setting hpnicfVoiceVlanPortQosTrust to true(1) on a phone-facing port would let the switch trust that phone's own QoS markings on its voice packets rather than overriding them with a different priority.
