Module: HPN-ICF-VOICE-VLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-VOICE-VLAN-MIB::hpnicfVoiceVlanConfigState

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.9.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Voice vlan configuration mode status

What is hpnicfVoiceVlanConfigState?

This read-write object sets the switch-wide voice VLAN configuration mode: auto, where the switch dynamically detects phones by OUI and assigns ports to the voice VLAN, or manual, where the admin explicitly configures port membership. Admins choose auto for hands-off phone deployment at scale, and manual when they need precise control over exactly which ports belong to the voice VLAN regardless of OUI detection. Setting hpnicfVoiceVlanConfigState to auto(1) lets the switch automatically move any port detecting a matching phone MAC address into the voice VLAN without manual per-port configuration.
