Description: This object is used to enable or disable URPF on certain vlan interfaces.
What is hpnicfURPFEnabled?
This read-write TruthValue enables or disables Unicast Reverse Path Forwarding (URPF) on a specific VLAN interface, defaulting to false. An admin sets this to true to have the device verify that incoming packets arrive on the interface their source address would be expected to route through, helping prevent source-address-spoofing attacks. For example, an admin enables URPF on a customer-facing VLAN interface to block traffic spoofing addresses from outside that VLAN's subnet.
