hpnicfSmlkControlVlanListLow

Module: HPN-ICF-SMLK-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-SMLK-MIB::hpnicfSmlkControlVlanListLow

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.147.1.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the control VLANs used for receiving flush messages. The VLAN ID range, described by bitmap, is from 1 to 2048. The length of bitmap is 256 in bytes. Each octet within this value specifies a set of eight VLANs, with the first octet specifying VLANs 1 through 8, the second octet specifying VLANs 9 through 16, and so on. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the highest numbered VLAN, and the least significant bit represents the lowest numbered VLAN.

What is hpnicfSmlkControlVlanListLow?

This read-write 256-byte OCTET STRING is a bitmap specifying which control VLANs from 1 to 2048 this port is enabled to receive Smart Link flush messages on, with the first octet covering VLANs 1-8 and so on. An admin configures this on downstream ports so they accept and act on flush messages sent by a Smart Link group's control VLAN during a failover. Setting the bit corresponding to VLAN 100 to 1 enables this port to process flush messages received on control VLAN 100.
