Description: Specifies the control VLANs used for receiving flush messages. The VLAN ID range, described by bitmap, is from 2049 to 4094. The length of bitmap is 256 in bytes. Each octet within this value specifies a set of eight VLANs, with the first octet specifying VLANs 2049 through 2056, the second octet specifying VLANs 2057 through 2064, and so on. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the highest numbered VLAN, and the least significant bit represents the lowest numbered VLAN.
What is hpnicfSmlkControlVlanListHigh?
This read-write 256-byte OCTET STRING is a bitmap specifying which control VLANs from 2049 to 4094 this port is enabled to receive Smart Link flush messages on, with the first octet covering VLANs 2049-2056 and so on. An admin configures this on downstream ports so they accept and act on flush messages sent over higher-numbered control VLANs during a Smart Link failover. Setting the bit corresponding to VLAN 3000 to 1 enables this port to process flush messages received on control VLAN 3000.
