What is hpnicfSmlkControlVlanID?
This read-create Integer32 value (1-4094, or 65535) specifies the control VLAN a Smart Link group uses to send flush messages, with 65535 indicating no control VLAN has been configured. An admin configures this so that when the active link fails over, flush messages can be sent on this VLAN to tell upstream switches to relearn MAC addresses via the new path. Setting this to VLAN 100 makes the Smart Link group send its flush notifications over VLAN 100 to speed up MAC table convergence after a failover.
