This object classifies a port-mirroring group as local (mirroring source and monitor port on the same device), remoteSource (this device holds the mirrored source and forwards traffic to a remote monitoring device), or remoteDestination (this device receives and presents mirrored traffic sent from elsewhere). Administrators set this when creating a mirror group to define its role in the overall port-mirroring topology. For example, an admin mirroring traffic from a switch in a remote wiring closet back to a central analyzer would configure remoteSource on the source switch and remoteDestination on the switch hosting the analyzer.
