What is hpnicfdot1sMstiStpPortRoleRestriction?
This enables or disables role-restriction on this port, effective in the CIST, defaulting to disabled; per the MIB's own description this prevents the port from ever being selected as root port for the CIST or any MSTI. An admin enables this on an access or edge-facing port that should never become an uplink toward the root, even if its path cost would otherwise favor it.
