What is hpnicfL2tpStatsTotalSessions?
This value reports how many L2TP sessions are currently active on the device, where each tunnel can carry one or more individual PPP sessions. An admin uses this figure for capacity planning, comparing it against the tunnel count to see the average number of sessions riding each tunnel. For example, seeing 500 sessions spread across 45 tunnels shows roughly 11 sessions per tunnel on average.
