Module: HPN-ICF-BLG-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-BLG-MIB::hpnicfBlgGroupCountClear

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.108.1.1.1.6

Type: CounterClear

Description: This object is used to reset the counter of the balance group. Read operation is meaningless.

What is hpnicfBlgGroupCountClear?

This read-write CounterClear object resets the packet and byte counters of the associated balance group when set to cleared(1); per the description, reading it back returns nouse(2) and a read operation has no meaning. Admins write cleared(1) to this object to zero out a balance group's Tx/Rx counters before starting a fresh measurement window, such as a bandwidth test. For example, after setting hpnicfBlgGroupCountClear to cleared(1) on group index 3, an admin can then poll the Tx/Rx counters from zero to measure that group's throughput over the next hour.
