OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.9.3.1.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

What is serialUse?

Determines what the terminal's serial port is being used for: disabled, primary or auxiliary connection (which map to TCP ports 9100/9101), a diagnostics link, an interactive serial session, or SLIP networking. An admin sets this to, say, 'slip' when the terminal needs to reach the network over a dial-up serial line instead of Ethernet.
