computerSystemFreeMemory

Module: HP-UNIX

OID (symbolic): HP-UNIX::computerSystemFreeMemory

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Gauge

Description: Free memory. SunOS - not implemented. Implemented with Extensible SNMP Agent.

What is computerSystemFreeMemory?

Free physical memory on the system, exposed via HP's Extensible SNMP Agent (the source notes it is not implemented on SunOS). A shrinking value over time, alongside rising swap usage, is a classic sign of a memory-pressure problem.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HP-UNIX::computerSystemFreeMemory

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.1.7.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HP-UNIX::computerSystemFreeMemory.1
