Description: A unique value for each device contained by the host. The value for each device must remain constant at least from one re-initialization of the agent to the next re-initialization.

What is hrDeviceIndex?

This read-only integer uniquely identifies one row of the device table, i.e. one hardware device recognized by the host (processor, disk, network interface, printer, etc). It stays constant across agent restarts and is the index used to look up a device's type, description, and status.
