Description: Desired mode of operation. To create, modify or deactivate an entry the value create(1) have to be set. delete(2) removes the entry. rm(3) and rs(4) activate the redundancy.
What is hmRingRedMode?
Controls how a ring-redundancy entry is provisioned and which redundancy role the switch plays: writing create(1) provisions or updates the row (this is also how hmRingRedPrimGroupID/IfIndex get populated), delete(2) removes it, and rm(3) or rs(4) activate the redundancy manager or redundancy switch functions respectively. An admin sets this when first configuring a HIPER Ring, for example writing rm(3) to make this unit the ring's active redundancy manager.
