Module: HM2-PLATFORM-PORTSECURITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): HM2-PLATFORM-PORTSECURITY-MIB::hm2AgentPortSecurityMACAddressRemove

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.248.12.20.1.2.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-write

Description: This MIB variable accepts a VLAN id and MAC address to be removed from the list of statically locked MAC addresses on a port.. The VLAN id and MAC address combination would be entered in a particular fashion like :- 2 a0:b0:c0:d1:e2:a1(the vlan-id and MAC address separated by a blank-space).

What is hm2AgentPortSecurityMACAddressRemove?

Writing to this DisplayString object removes a previously added VLAN id and MAC address pair from the port's statically locked MAC list, using the same "vlan-id mac-address" format. Admins use it to revoke access for a device that no longer needs a static entry, such as decommissioned equipment. Writing "2 a0:b0:c0:d1:e2:a1" removes that specific VLAN/MAC static entry from the port, immediately dropping its guaranteed access.
