Module: HM2-PLATFORM-DVMRP-MIB
OID (symbolic): HM2-PLATFORM-DVMRP-MIB::hm2AgentDvmrpReachableRoutes
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.248.12.4.249.1.1.1.4

Description: The number of entries in the routing table with non infinite metrics. This can be used to detect network partitions by observing the ratio of reachable routes to total routes.
What is hm2AgentDvmrpReachableRoutes?
The count of DVMRP routing table entries whose metric is not infinite, i.e. routes still considered reachable. Comparing this against the total route count (hm2AgentDvmrpNumRoutes) gives an admin an early signal of a multicast network partition.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.248.12.4.249.1.1.1.4 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HM2-PLATFORM-DVMRP-MIB::hm2AgentDvmrpReachableRoutes
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.248.12.4.249.1.1.1.4.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HM2-PLATFORM-DVMRP-MIB::hm2AgentDvmrpReachableRoutes.1
