What is hmMgmtDiscMacAddr?
This read-only value is the burned-in physical MAC address of the discovery agent, assigned during production. Admins use it as the stable hardware identity of a discovered device, since it doesn't change even when the IP address is reconfigured. For example, a network management tool scanning for Hirschmann switches via HiDiscovery would use hmMgmtDiscMacAddr to uniquely identify each device before assigning it an IP.
