Description: This object indicates the delay of the echo cancellation for the voice interface. This value couldn't be modified unless hh3cVoiceIfCfgEchoCancelSwitch is enable. Unit is milliseconds. It is applicable to FXO, FXS, E&M subscriber lines and E1/T1 voice subscriber line. The default value of this object is 32.
What is hh3cVoiceIfCfgEchoCancelDelay?
Sets the echo-cancellation delay, in milliseconds, for this voice interface, and can only be changed while hh3cVoiceIfCfgEchoCancelSwitch is enabled. Admins tune this to match the actual round-trip delay of echo on the line - too short a value fails to cancel longer echoes, while the setting only takes effect when echo cancellation itself is turned on. On a line experiencing echo from a longer analog loop, an admin might raise hh3cVoiceIfCfgEchoCancelDelay from the default 32ms toward the maximum 64ms to better match the observed echo delay.
