hh3cSecureLogon

Module: HH3C-PORT-SECURITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): HH3C-PORT-SECURITY-MIB::hh3cSecureLogon

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.2.26.1.3.4

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description: This trap is sent when a new session is started for an authorised port user. The port on which the violation occured is the first object, and the MAC address of the offending station is in the second object. The dot1xAuthSessionUserName is the identity supplied during the user authentication. The dot1xAuthSessionAuthenticMethod indicates how the user was authorised. The hh3cSecurePortVlanMembershipList object identifies the VLAN membership assigned to the port on session activation.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' HH3C-PORT-SECURITY-MIB::hh3cSecureLogon
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.2.26.1.3.4

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:

zoo11-linux.zoo [UDP: [192.168.30.111]:51806->[192.168.30.10]:162]:
  DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (71543390) 8 days, 6:43:53.90
  SNMPv2-MIB::snmpTrapOID.0 = OID: HH3C-PORT-SECURITY-MIB::hh3cSecureLogon

SNMPv3 example:

snmptrap -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3user -a SHA -A "AuthPass1" -x AES -X "PrivPass1" <manager> '' HH3C-PORT-SECURITY-MIB::hh3cSecureLogon
