This object reports the device serial number used to identify this specific Access Controller for licensing purposes. An admin retrieves this value when requesting or registering a WLAN AP-count license from the vendor, since licenses are typically tied to a specific device's serial number. Providing the correct serial number is what lets the vendor generate an activation key bound specifically to this AC.
