Description: Total number of calls retransmitted due to a timeout.
What is hmTotRPCRetransmissions?
The total number of NFS client RPC calls that had to be retransmitted after timing out waiting for a server reply. A high retransmission rate is a classic symptom of a slow or overloaded NFS server, or of network packet loss between client and server.
