h3cSmlkControlVlanListLow

Module: H3C-SMLK-MIB

OID (symbolic): H3C-SMLK-MIB::h3cSmlkControlVlanListLow

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.10.2.147.1.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the control VLANs used for receiving flush messages. The VLAN ID range, described by bitmap, is from 1 to 2048. The length of bitmap is 256 in bytes. Each octet within this value specifies a set of eight VLANs, with the first octet specifying VLANs 1 through 8, the second octet specifying VLANs 9 through 16, and so on. Within each octet, the most significant bit represents the highest numbered VLAN, and the least significant bit represents the lowest numbered VLAN.

What is h3cSmlkControlVlanListLow?

This object is a 256-byte bitmap specifying which control VLANs, numbered 1 through 2048, this interface is enabled to receive Smart Link flush messages on. Admins configure this on downstream ports so the switch knows which VLANs carry flush notifications that should be honored to clear MAC tables. Setting bit 1 in the first octet enables flush message reception for VLAN 1 on this interface.
