h3cFcoeModeCfgLastResult
Module: H3C-FCOE-MODE-MIB
OID (symbolic): H3C-FCOE-MODE-MIB::h3cFcoeModeCfgLastResult
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.10.2.135.1.2

Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: This object specifies the result of the latest FCoE mode configuration.
The object has four values: success - Configured successfully. noLicence - Configured unsuccessfully for lack of licence. needReset - Configured unsuccessfully, because the desired mode is not non-FCoE mode, and the mode should be first set to non-FCoE mode. unknownFault - Configured unsuccessfully for unknown fault.
What is h3cFcoeModeCfgLastResult?
This read-only value reports the outcome of the most recent attempt to change the switch's FCoE operating mode via h3cFcoeModeCfgMode, returning one of success, noLicence (the required feature license is missing), needReset (the switch must first be set to non-FCoE mode before this mode change is possible), or unknownFault. An administrator checks this immediately after attempting an FCoE mode change to confirm it actually took effect, and to get a specific reason if it didn't, rather than having to guess why the mode didn't switch. For example, seeing a value of needReset after trying to jump directly from FCF mode to Transit mode confirms the switch needs to be returned to non-FCoE mode first, matching the conversion rule described for h3cFcoeModeCfgMode.
