This read-create value starts or stops a configured trace-route entry, taking the values 'enable' to activate it or 'disable' to deactivate it. An admin sets it to 'enable' to launch the trace route; per the source DESCRIPTION, the object cannot be modified while the test is running, reads back as 'enable' during execution, and automatically reverts to 'disable' once the test finishes. For example, an admin would set this to enable(1) to kick off a trace-route test after configuring the target address, then see it revert to disable once results are ready.
