Description: The number of multiple frame alignment errors received

What is h221MultiFrameAlignmentErrs?

This object counts the number of H.221 multiframe alignment errors, which occur when the receiver loses sync with the larger multiframe structure that groups multiple H.221 frames together. An admin treats a rise in this counter as a more serious synchronization problem than a simple frame alignment error, since it affects the higher-level frame grouping used for signaling within H.221. For example, persistent multiframe alignment errors could disrupt the bit-rate allocation signaling channel carried within the multiframe structure.
