Description: The number of H.221 BAS errors received

What is h221BASErrs?

This object counts the number of errors detected in the H.221 Bit-rate Allocation Signal (BAS), the in-band signaling channel H.221 uses to negotiate call parameters. An admin watches this counter because BAS errors can cause call setup or renegotiation failures even when basic frame reception looks healthy. For example, rising h221BASErrs during a multi-rate video call could explain why the call failed to renegotiate bandwidth correctly.
