Description: The Number of BOOTP/DHCP Discards. Total number of packets discarded by the network element because of error in the packet.
What is agentBootpDhcpRelayNumOfDiscards?
Counts the total number of BOOTP/DHCP packets the relay agent has discarded because of an error in the packet, such as a malformed request or one that exceeded the hop-count limit. A climbing count here points an admin toward a misbehaving client, a relay loop, or a network problem corrupting DHCP traffic.
