What is todayDocsCrawled?
This field reports how many documents the appliance has crawled so far during the current day. Admins use this daily counter to spot an unusually low crawl volume that might indicate a crawling problem. For example, a todayDocsCrawled value far below a typical day's total partway through the day would prompt an admin to check crawl health.
