Description: A unique value which identify a particular Ethernet Physical port of a gigabitEthernet card. The value of this index is a constant value assigned to an entry at equipment design time. It is usualy related to harware. Its values are mapped to IfIndex values of Lan Ports.
What is pauseIndex?
The unique index of a particular Ethernet port supporting Pause, mapped to that port's ifIndex, per its DESCRIPTION. It's the INDEX column tying together that port's pause timing, MAC addressing, and failure-severity settings in pauseTable.
