Description: A TLV encoded information string for the VLAN interface. The information contained within this string corresponds to VLAN information not contained within this table, but contained elsewhere within this MIB module. The purpose of this string is to provide an NMS with a quick read mechanism of all related VLAN interface information.
The encoding rules are defined according to:
tag = 2 bytes length = 2 bytes value = n bytes

What is a3ComVlanIfInfo?
This is a TLV (tag-length-value) encoded byte string that bundles related VLAN details for this interface, such as the IP VLAN's network address (tag 1) and network mask (tag 2), which otherwise live in separate tables of this MIB. It exists so a management station can retrieve a VLAN interface's related configuration in a single read instead of issuing separate SNMP queries against each related table. For example, a management station decoding this string can extract an IP VLAN's network address and mask without a second GET against the a3ComIpVlanTable.
