a3ComIpVlanIpNetMask

Module: GENERIC-3COM-VLAN-MIB-1-0-6

OID (symbolic): GENERIC-3COM-VLAN-MIB-1-0-6::a3ComIpVlanIpNetMask

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.10.1.14.2.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: IpAddress

Access: read-write

Description: The IP network mask corresponding to the IP Network address defined by a3ComIpVlanIpNetAddress. The IpNetAdress and the IpNetMask must be set and the row creation process completed by a NMS before overlapping rows in the ifStackTable can be created. Sets to the ifStackTable that produce overlapping IP VLAN interfaces will fail if this object is not set.

What is a3ComIpVlanIpNetMask?

This value holds the IP network mask that pairs with a3ComIpVlanIpNetAddress to define this IP VLAN interface's subnet boundary. Like the address object, it must be set and row creation completed before the switch permits overlapping ifStackTable entries for the IP VLAN, so leaving it unset blocks stacking. For example, pairing address 10.0.5.0 with mask 255.255.255.0 defines a /24 subnet for that IP VLAN.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> GENERIC-3COM-VLAN-MIB-1-0-6::a3ComIpVlanIpNetMask

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.10.1.14.2.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> GENERIC-3COM-VLAN-MIB-1-0-6::a3ComIpVlanIpNetMask.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.10.1.14.2.1.1.2.1 a <value>
