Module: GENERIC-3COM-VLAN-MIB-1-0-1
OID (symbolic): GENERIC-3COM-VLAN-MIB-1-0-1::a3ComIpVlanIpNetAddress
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.10.1.14.2.1.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: IpAddress
Access: read-write
Description: The IP network number for the IP VLAN interface defined in the a3ComVlanIfTable identified with the same index. The IpNetAdress and the IpNetMask must be set and the the row creation process completed by a NMS before overlapping rows in the ifStackTable can be created. Sets to the ifStackTable that produce overlapping IP VLAN interfaces will fail if this object is not set.
What is a3ComIpVlanIpNetAddress?
This value sets the IP network address associated with an IP-protocol VLAN interface, used to identify the subnet the VLAN represents. This object, together with a3ComIpVlanIpNetMask, must be configured and the row committed before the NMS can stack this VLAN over ports it shares with another overlapping IP VLAN interface, per the ifStackTable overlap rules the MIB describes. To set up two overlapping IP VLANs sharing the same physical ports, an admin must first write a3ComIpVlanIpNetAddress, e.g. 10.1.1.0, for each VLAN before configuring the overlapping ifStackTable entries.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.10.1.14.2.1.1.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> GENERIC-3COM-VLAN-MIB-1-0-1::a3ComIpVlanIpNetAddress
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.10.1.14.2.1.1.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> GENERIC-3COM-VLAN-MIB-1-0-1::a3ComIpVlanIpNetAddress.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.10.1.14.2.1.1.1.1 a <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> a3ComIpVlanIpNetAddress.1
