Description: DURABLE: { true:all } This object is true(1) when this interface is enabled and false(1) when it is disabled. For this product, this is the ONLY way to enable or disable this interface. Note that 'ifAdminStatus' in RFC1213 and RFC2233 and 'dot1dStpPortEnable' in RFC1493 are each implemented as 'read-only'.
What is oemArchIfaceEnable?
This read-write enumerated object, true(1) or false(2), is the sole mechanism on this product for administratively enabling or disabling a logical interface, since the standard ifAdminStatus and dot1dStpPortEnable objects are implemented as read-only here. Admins must use this vendor-specific object instead of the standard MIB objects to actually control port state. For example, setting this to false(2) is the only supported way to administratively shut down this logical port via SNMP on this device.
