Description:
This field tracks the state of the ping process. Invalid is the initial state, when the connection is made the state changes to 'inprogress' and when the ping is complete the state changes to 'complete'.

This object tracks the state of the PING process for ATM Q.2931 signaling, transitioning from initial (invalid) state through in-progress to completion as the ping operation proceeds.
