What is portUsedBandwidthOut?
This gauge measures the current outgoing bandwidth utilization on an ATM port, expressed in cells per second on a Fore Systems switch. Cells are the fixed-size (53-byte) data units used in ATM networks; tracking cell throughput is equivalent to tracking data rate. An operator monitors this to ensure ports are not congested and to manage bandwidth allocation across connections.
