This variable defines the per-port policing configuration for nrtVBR connections. The states mean the following: allOn: ALL nrtVBR connections arriving on this port will be subjected to GCRA policing. allOff: NO nrtVBR connections arriving on this port will be subjected to GCRA policing. svcOn: ALL nrtVBR SVCs arriving on this port will be subjected to GCRA policing svcOff: NO nrtVBR SVCs arriving on this port will be subjected to GCRA policing. nrtVBR PVCs will be GCRA policed based on the state of their UPC contract. default: ALL nrtVBR UNI SVCs/SVPs arriving at this port will be subject to GCRA policing and NO nrtVBR NNI SVCs/SVPs arriving at this port will be subject to GCRA policing. nrtVBR PVCs/PVPs arriving at this port will be policed based on the state of their UPC contract.
What is portGCRAPolicingNRTVBR?
This OID stores a setting that controls whether the network switch will rate-limit non-real-time variable bit rate traffic arriving on a port, with options to apply policing to all connections, no connections, or only to permanent connections. When you configure this setting, you control how aggressively the switch manages bursty traffic to prevent network congestion.
