Description:
This configuration item specifies whether the switch should send the: spvcRerouteInitiated OR pnniSpvccUp and pnniSpvccFail OR pnniSpvccDown, pnniSpvccFail, and pnniSpvccUp traps.
What is pnniSpvcTrapMode?
This OID controls which alert messages the ATM switch generates when switched permanent virtual circuits (dedicated connections) are created, rerouted, or fail. It lets operators choose between receiving detailed failure alerts or just status change notifications to reduce alert noise. A network administrator might set this to focus on critical reroute events while ignoring routine connection updates.
