What is pnniPmpSpvcDown?

This notification is sent when a point-to-multipoint (PMP) Switched Permanent Virtual Circuit (SPVC) call is cleared. The notification provides information about whether the call was cleared due to finding a better route or because of a network failure. Operators use this notification to monitor the stability of PMP connections and troubleshoot SPVC routing issues.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' Fore-Switch-MIB::pnniPmpSpvcDown
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.2022

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
