What is pShmem3CLP1LostCells?
This counter accumulates the number of ATM cells dropped on a port due to exceeding the CLP=1 (Cell Loss Priority 1) threshold in shared memory pool 3. CLP=1 cells are lower-priority traffic that gets dropped first when congestion occurs. Switch operators monitor this counter to detect excessive congestion and adjust traffic shaping or admission control policies.
