The CLP=1 discard threshold in cells for nrtVBR (Non-Real-Time Variable Bit Rate) traffic.
What is pShmem2ClpThreshforVBR?
This threshold controls how many ATM cells marked with Cell Loss Priority (CLP) bit set to 1 can be buffered for non-real-time VBR (Variable Bit Rate) traffic before they are discarded. Exceeding this threshold causes low-priority cells to be dropped. Network administrators tune this to balance quality-of-service guarantees between different traffic types on the ATM switch.
