Description:

# of mbufs allocated to Fragment Re-assembly Headers

What is mbufsFtableAlloc?

This object reports the number of memory buffers (mbufs) currently allocated for fragment reassembly headers in the switch. Fragment reassembly headers are needed when the switch processes fragmented network packets that arrive in pieces and must be reconstructed. Network operators monitor this value to ensure the switch has adequate memory resources for handling fragmented traffic and to detect potential memory exhaustion conditions.
