What is genericPortGroupEfciOn?

This object sets the threshold at which the EFCI (Explicit Forward Congestion Indication) bit is activated in ATM cell headers for Available Bit Rate (ABR) traffic. When congestion reaches this threshold, EFCI signals downstream equipment to reduce transmission rate. An operator tunes this to balance between protecting the network from overload and maintaining throughput for elastic traffic.
