Module: Fore-Switch-MIB
OID (symbolic): Fore-Switch-MIB::ftPnniSummaryAddress
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.2.1.9.6.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32

Description: The address prefix that is to be either summarized or suppressed by the FT-PNNI routing protocol
What is ftPnniSummaryAddress?
This OID stores a network address prefix used by the PNNI routing protocol to either summarize (group together) or filter out (suppress) routes, reducing the amount of routing information advertised. It acts as a rule controlling which network addresses are visible to other switches. ATM/switching engineers use this to optimize routing table size and convergence time in large ATM networks.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.2.1.9.6.1.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Fore-Switch-MIB::ftPnniSummaryAddress
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.2.1.9.6.1.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Fore-Switch-MIB::ftPnniSummaryAddress.1
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ftPnniSummaryAddress.1
