Module: Fore-Switch-MIB

OID (symbolic): Fore-Switch-MIB::crConfMemoryOflow

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.1029

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description:

This trap is generated when the allocated callrecord memory(as indicated by crMemoryAllocated) is exceeded.

What is crConfMemoryOflow?

This is an alert notification that fires when the network switch runs out of memory space reserved for storing call records (detailed logs of network connections passing through it). It signals that the device is overwhelmed by traffic volume and cannot keep historical records anymore. An operator receiving this alert would know the switch is at capacity and may need performance tuning, memory upgrades, or traffic reduction.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' Fore-Switch-MIB::crConfMemoryOflow
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.1029

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:
