Description:
The number of cells transferred on this channel.
What is chanCells?
This read-only counter tracks the total number of ATM cells transferred on a logical channel since the channel was created. The counter increments by one for each cell (53-byte unit) successfully transmitted or received on that channel. Network operators monitor this to measure channel utilization and confirm that data is actually flowing through specific virtual connections in an ATM network.
