What is asxTP25LOSCleared?

This notification is generated when a Loss of Signal (LOS) alarm condition that was previously active on an incoming signal has been cleared. It indicates that the optical or electrical signal is now being received correctly again. Operators use this alarm to confirm that a signal quality problem has been resolved without manual intervention.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' Fore-Switch-MIB::asxTP25LOSCleared
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.251

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
