asxPsInputDown

Module: Fore-Switch-MIB

OID (symbolic): Fore-Switch-MIB::asxPsInputDown

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.6

Node type: NOTIFICATION-TYPE

Description:

This trap alerts that one ATM switch power supply failed due to failure in the input voltage. The power supply that failed is identified by the power supply index. Note that an input voltage may be out of spec and may not cause a power supply failure if high loads are not applied.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' Fore-Switch-MIB::asxPsInputDown
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.0.6

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:
